Whether you are moving first time or moved dozen times, prepare list of work to do to cover everything like:
- Finalize the moving date and try to make it on weekend so that you can give your full time.

- If any of your appliances get damage, send the details to insurance company without delay.
- Arranged all the related important documents.
- Inform all of your contacts for new address.
- Things that are not used before moving day can be packed early.
- Keep ready the markers, tape, cartons etc. & Mark all the cartons that will make easy to locate things inside.
- Give away or sell the old items that you do not go with.
- Remember to collect as well as return items if you exchanged with your neighbor.
- Don’t buy any thing that you do not need as you could regret if it does not suit you new house.
- Cook the good quantity of food if you do not eat outside.
- Before hiring any professional movers and packers, check for their availability, services and rates that are easily available on some web sites.
- After shifting to the new house, switch on the fridge before use to eliminate bad odor.
Before circulating your new address and start packing, wait until documents of new property are well transferred to you because deal sometimes get cancelled and if it happens unluckily, you have to again contact everyone.
